- New hires support agency growth -
SALT LAKE CITY—July 27, 2011— Utah public relations firm Snapp Conner PR (www.snappconner.com) announced today that it has hired three new PR professionals, Randy Scott, Abram Jones and Ryan Oaks to accommodate the growth and demand for its PR services.
Scott is a highly accomplished executive with extensive U.S. and international marketing, product management, sales and business development experience in technology and biotechnology companies. Prior to joining Snapp Conner PR, Scott was Vice President of Operations at Celio where he was responsible for strategy, implementation, and day-to-day management of company operations, including sales operations, procurement, manufacturing operations, service/support, systems, process, and quality organizations
Before joining Snapp Conner PR, Jones was an Outreach Coordinator with Kindel Gagan Public Affairs where he worked with Edelman Public Relations on behalf of the American Chemistry Council to plan and execute field campaigns for the Plastic Foodservice Packaging Group, Progressive Bag Alliance and California Restaurant Association to organize business owners and customers in opposition to proposed market restrictions. As part of his work there he planned, wrote and produced collateral in support of field programs. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
Oaks’ PR expertise includes experience in the government, sports and entertainment, higher education, and technology industries. He spent three years in the health care industry and most recently served as the Assistant Sports Information Director at Utah Valley University. In his spare time Oaks works with Real Salt Lake, Utah’s professional soccer franchise in the media relations department providing statistics, game and player information to local and national media. He is a graduate of Utah Valley University.
